LAST HURDLE!

Good morning everyone. At last we are almost ready to set up base. The last hurdle was to import our working vehicle. All the permits are done, and now the vehicle has a Botswana numberplate to round things off. Within the next few weeks we will set up a permanent base in the Moremi Game Reserve area. Game has been scarce because of the late rains, but things are drying up slowly, hopefully by mid-June sightings will increase. After a month of driving around in mud, water and thick Mopani the hight of the grass are slowly getting shorter which makes sightings easier. It took us 4 weeks to spot our first leopard and she bounced from one branch to another and posed beautifully.
Me and Noa will keep you updated on our progress and where we will eventually set up base. We are looking forward to start working full steam until 2017 to capture the beauty of the Okavango and surrounding reserves.
